Concept:
After experiencing the symptoms of Intercranial Hypertension, I tried to describe how my vision was altered to other people without success. As a personal project I decided to recreate different visual disturbances I had experienced into a short series of altered photographs.
Photographs:

Intercranial Hypertension:
Intercranial Hypertension can cause multiple changes in an individuals vision, including the appearance of veins, and double images.

Double Vision:
Due to alteration in optical muscles, Intercranial Hypertension can cause double vision both horizontally and vertically. It also can cause a differentiation in color between eyes, as shown in the photo above.

Blurry Spots:
This photograph represented the blurry, darkened, spots associated with I.H. and Papilledema. The circular area’s are also slightly distorted.
